When Ian was asked to be involved in the Oxfam Wedding project, he jumped at the chance to use his expert skills to support the work of this amazing charity, and offer a priceless experience to one generous bride. He has kindly given one lucky winning bidder the chance to choose their very own dress from the Killer Queen collection as well as have a (money cannot buy) bridal consultation with the designer himself!   

Usually reserved for his 'V.I.P clients' the winning bidder will have her own private consultation with Ian to choose her wedding dress at his London studio. The bride can use Ian’s talent and expertise to find her perfect gown, as well styling advice and tips for the big day. A truly unique opportity for fans of the designer while donating to a really great cause.

'Eco' Wedding Dresses

At La Novia we support Sustainability and as we look to the future more and more people are adopting 'greener' lives and in turn they want their weddings to reflect this.

At La Novia we make all our dresses on site in our dress making studio - none of our dresses are shipped, flown  or put in the back of a lorry, our dresses haven't gained any air miles and we like to think of them as being Carbon Neutral.


Though our couture dresses come in a variety of silks we can source vegan/vegetarian man made fabrics which will look just as sumptuous but will keep your conscience clear. We can also source a variety of organic fabrics and we are always open to suggestions should you require any other specific needs.

Lace is that wonderful timeless fabric which gives a wedding dress understated style and sophistication. Lace has been huge on the Catwalk for 2012 and bridal couture has not been too far behind embracing the current romance with lace.

At La Novia we have always been huge fans of lace and many of our couture dresses are made with matching off the shoulder lace boleros which can be kept on or taken off during your reception or before dancing.

Our Popular dress, Paris, is a stunning lace dress with a dropped back and detachable lace train with a stunning vintage broach. Fiona is another La Novia Couture Lace dress which exudes understated glamour. Fiona is strapless but comes with a matching off the shoulder bolero.

A wedding wouldn't be a wedding without some beautiful blooms. Whatever season you tie the knot and whatever your culture, nationality or religion, fabulous flowers are inevitable on any wedding day.

All our dress designs can be made up in man made fabrics and a number of the designers we stock have designs in man made fabrics too. We even stock Ella dresses, an Australian designer perfect for hot beach weddings with beautiful floaty trains and sparkly diamante's!
